Kewatec Aluboat builds a rescue boat to sweden
A new shipbuilding contract has been signed between the aluminium shipyard Kewatec AluBoat in Finland and the City of Landskrona in Sweden. The contract covers the delivery of a custom built fast rescueboat which should be delivered in May 2018.
The boat is 13,7 meter long, 3,7 meter wide och has a 15 tonnes displacement. The top speed will be around 35 knots. The boat is equipped with twin diesel engines and IPS-propulsion drives from Volvo Penta. In addition to high tech ambulance equipment, the boat will also be used in firefighting and sea rescue tasks, and that´s why there will also be a fire pump, fire cannon and thermal camera installed.

Rescue Manager Eva Lövbom och Sales Manager Jan Wargh signed an agreement regarding the delivery of a new rescue vessel for the city of Landskrona, Sweden.
